Deep Workshops: Two-hour
immersive deep work experiences

Are you struggling to focus when working or studying? Do you get easily distracted when trying to concentrate on something important? Join us for a Deep Workshop and learn how to do deeply focused work by actually doing it with a group of supportive individuals.

What to expect

Deep Workshops are guided co-working sessions where we implement the DeepCycles protocol to minimize distraction and maximize output.

Register for a workshop

Fill out the form below and you'll be notified of upcoming workshops. All workshops are completely free to join and participate in.

Bring your own work to do

During the workshop you'll be working deeply on something important. That's right: You'll be learning how to do deep work while doing deep work. Don't worry! We'll provide you with guidance ahead of time to help determine what to work on.

Show up and do the work

Deep Workshops are about actually doing the work, not just talking about it. You'll be expected to show up on time, follow the protocol, not talk, and stay as focused as possible. Again, we'll show you how best to do all of this!

Why DeepCycles works

DeepCycles is the protocol we use for doing deep work. DeepCycles utilizes a combination of proven strategies, including deep work and deep space principles, the Pomodoro Technique + Ultraworking's work cycles, intention-setting, structured breaks, group accountability, and distraction management. Combined, it's like rocket fuel for work.

Enhanced Focus and Concentration

Allocating specific, short timeframes to tasks minimizes distractions and heightens concentration, with the ticking clock acting as a constant reminder to remain focused.

Prevention of Burnout

Incorporating regular breaks combats mental fatigue, ensuring sustained high performance without overwhelming the brain.

Combatting Procrastination

The method promotes task initiation by breaking work into manageable segments, making daunting tasks feel more approachable and reducing hesitation to start.

Accountability and Motivation

Completing each work cycle offers a sense of achievement, fostering motivation and creating a structured environment that encourages responsible time usage.

Improved Time Management

Awareness of time allocation is heightened, allowing for better planning and more accurate task duration estimations. This can translate to all sorts of benefits outside of DeepCycles.

Conducting sessions with peers increases accountability and keeps participants engaged, with the visible presence of others serving as a commitment device to show up and work hard.

Supportive Community

Unlike other online co-working groups, interaction doesn't end when the session ends. Skills practiced during DeepCycles are discussed and expanded upon in the community so participants can continue to improve concentration outside of sessions.

Social Solution to Notification Anxiety

Group sessions mitigate the anxiety of disconnecting from notifications, providing a shared environment that eases the fear of missing out on important updates.

Feeling Good

After 2 hours of being untethered from rings, dings, and pings, you just feel good. You got a TON done, your mind is calm, and you're in a relaxed place. And so you want to do it more often.

Leading up to the session, you'll get another email with details on the structure of the workshop and how you can best prepare. It will also provide guidance on how to choose what to work on.
